“ Staff were lovely took the time to have a conversation to customers not rushing us atall, food was cooked to perfection (coming from a fussy eater i was able to get a non spicy food) its truly a unique experience. There was a newspaper artical to tell you a bit of background on the train carriage which was interesting! Anyone going to Pitlochry this stop is a must! I looked it up online so was expecting to be a bit pricey, but definitely worth it the food quality and portion size Was great! ”

It’s so different, we have been coming to Pitlochry for years, this is my little haven when I want to get out the city & I loved seeing this as a new addition. The food was delicious, probably the best duck i’ve ever had! We were 115 for starter to share, 2 mains, 1 dessert, 1 cocktail & 2 sojus (plus we always tip too!). Fergus was just such a sweet man, you can tell he really cares. We would recommend coming here for something a little different! I’ve been to Thailand twice & I thought this food was really authentic. We did find most of the dishes pretty spicy (masaman was ok spice level wise) :) My only bit of feedback to improve the place would be some music in the background, as it could feel quite quiet at times. Also the wait between starter and mains could have been less. ”

From the moment you walk into the train the experience is superb - the staff are very helpful and far exceed the service you normally receive, with nothing being too much trouble for them. Looking at the cocktail menu they did not list a French Martini but when i asked, it was no problem to make me one as they had the ingredients. The food is fresh and very tasty - absolutely worth a visit when you are in the area! we had Highland Banana Leaf Beef Panang Curry, Red Chicken Curry and Waffles with ice cream & fruit ”

“ Unique place (featured in Tom Cruise film recently) and great tasty food. Carriage is very clean and comfortable with the toilet being huge! Menu is small but with the space available its understandable. Main courses we had were very good portion sized and delicious with the cocktails drinks being tasty.
